An Enterprise 30" natural gas transmission line in Fort Worth, Texas. The Enterprise pipeline was placed in ground discovered to be an unauthorized landfill and Enterprise did not have the required permits to do so but was allowed to proceed irregardless. The pipeline is in the ground surrounded by and on top of solid and inert waste material. The Railroad Commission is aware of this but will reportedly evaluate the pipeline AFTER it is in service. Did you know that the Railroad Commission allows pipeline operators to hire their own inspectors and perform their own x-rays on welded pipe areas? Now we have a little more insight into some of the possible reasons why in 2009 there were over 26 pipeline accidents a day in Texas. It's amazing that there are not more accidents.

  • where is the Explotion...

  • @sidd020582 the word is spelled with an S not a T....... you must be a landman....lol!!!!

  • Thanks for your comment....makes sense. I didn't know what to think when I watched the workers run into the woods. There's 1200 psi running through that pipeline.....I guess I should have run for cover instead of videotaping it. Lesson learned. Thanks.

  • Thank you so much for your response. This pipeline operator explained that this is normal operating procedure, yet when this video was shown on the Texas legislative floor, it helped push through a bill requiring operators to disclose their fracking concotion (with loophpoles of course, but at least it's a start).

  • its water, if it wasnt your tape would have melted and your dental records would be you only story.... people that work this industry obviously know that. the only reason the workers are moving is to stay dry and keep the rust off

  • This definitely a hydrostatic test because really, do you think there would be a damn soul in sight with the knowledge of what an explosion could come from this, heeeellll no. Did this in Iowa on a pipeline we were kicking off for the Northern Border Project. Silly peeps, understand what it is before you go overboard with what you THINK it is. Have a great day!
