Hey Everyone, Its Finally Time! The snow is melting and we are ready to go for another fun spring and summer season! One of the projects I have been working on is the "MadBash" 8th scale SC Truck from NitroRCX.com and Exceed RC.

Now that things are starting to dry up on the streets and on the offroad courses.. its time to BUST OUT THE POWER! Team Tekin has the RX8 ESC out for 8th scale rigs, MT's, buggies, etc.. paired with a Brushless T8 2050kv Motor - this SC truck is gunna be a ROCKET!

Hey mister Medic man!

I was thinking about getting a Madbash and so something similar to what you did, but without so much "custom" work, since I don't have the same support like you to help me.

What you think about this setup?

Mamba Monster/Neu-Castle 2650kv Motor Combo

The enige is alittle bit shorter than the Tekin and alittle smaller diameter, but seems to have more power than the stock engine.

I think with this you don't have to move the servo and change the axel like you did.

@TommyGus Honestly my friend.. I would not get another madbash.. it was good for having fun with.. but is SOOO brittle. I happened to get one of the "good" ones.. but after playing with a few.. they just seemed to fall apart. Go Traxxas Slash man.. smaller.. but WAY more durable. If your set on this.. yes.. your motor should fix in fine!! SHOULD>. lol

Hey Medic, just a little questiion: why not the SCx4 motor, which is specific for corr trucks (and a bit shorter too: T8=76mm SCx4=66mm)?

@SandMan1684 Well thanks for the nice comment, im glad your diggin the vids bro! Actually when I spoke to Tekin and told them what i wanted to do with the truck - they personally paired me with this setup. they are always good for matching my gear and style of driving! So after telling them my goal of Extreme speed.. they sent me THE BIG DADDY of all ESCs and Motors.. The RX8 and the T8! Should be INSANE!

Medic I have a slash 4x4 do u think a 7.2v 5000 mAh lipo would work good for bashing and running around?

I am seriously thinking about buying this truck..do you feel it is durable as other 1/8 scale well known brand buggies and trucks...it looks awesome..this will be my first 1/8 scale..thanks for great review

I know this is random but is it better to get already waterproof'ed Traxxas electronics or get another brand (Tekin etc.) and waterproof it your self?
