Song and Band Background-
This is a funk jam by Nature's Pocket. Since the band were in a dilemma about their name, they came up with the pathetic title "Marvel." Marvel (Nature's Pocket) were almost the winners of a local Savannah music contest. Nature's Pocket was the name settled by bassist Robin "Shavon" Sherman or "That Dude" as guitarist Mike Foo likes to call him.
Engaged in 2005, Nature's Pocket had decided to conquer many heights. Originally what had started in Mike Foo's garage developed into a larger concept. Thriving with musical ideas, drummer/synthesist Vuk Pavlovic, guitarist/vocalist Mike Foo, and bassist/vocalist Robin Sherman decided to work together and primarily compose and perform original tunes inspired by their favorite musical groups.
The first single by Nature's Pocket was entitled "Ain't That a Wrack." Wrack was the first tune the band had written and performed, however the band's mutual friend Nikita K. Carpenter had been crucial for the development of the tune. Nature's Pocket had originally settled under the name "The Khrushchevs." Following "Ain't That a Wrack, Pocket had written an absurd funk/rock song entitled "Psychedelic Booty Powder."
Still unhappy with their band name, drummer Vuk Pavlovic brainstormed thousands of potential names. Pavlovic convinced the other two members of a new name, "The Sessionists." The Sessionists had soon become a provisional title as well. After practicing in Pavlovic's studio for months, the members had brought significant elements together for their next few hits. Robin Sherman was primarily responsible for one of the band's most memorable tracks, "Write Me a Love Song."
In 2007, the band were about to perform their first live gig at a benefit for Darfur organized by two of the band's schoolmates. Hectically, the band had settled with the name "Nature's Pocket."
Soon after, NP was performing at a Battle of the Bands and entering video contests.
On the very last day of the high school year, Nature's Pocket cut their demo titled "Come In." Covering an array of ideas, Come In included a grungy instrumental called "Exposed" written on the bass by Pavlovic. Ever since, Exposed was performed with Foo on bass and Sherman on guitar.
In 2008, Nature's Pocket performed the "Funk Jam" and a reggae inspired tune called "Stolen Answer." Answer was the last song Nature's Pocket wrote and Pavlovic had been responsible for all the lyrics and Foo for the music.
Performing for the last time in the spring of 2008, Nature's Pocket went on hiatus. The band were becoming unhappy without the opportunity of performing live. The primary reason for this was because each member was under the age of 21 and could not get into bars or clubs for gigs. The hiatus of the band was prolonged by the outright laziness of Sherman and Foo.
The future of Nature's Pocket is not grim in the eyes of Pavlovic. He hopes to break the other member's laziness and put the band back on track.

pretty dam good.
id recommend occassionally breaking it down
ie: pull out guitar, bass or drums and bring them back in after a pause for variety.

you play well and know your stuff, but... (theres always one)
guitarist:you should sit on time more.
bassist:in trios (i dont even count the shakers guy ;) ), you should bring the bass line to the front, combine it with some nuances regarding other instruments.
drummer: technique is alright, but I highly advice you to work on that feel, rythem games and dynamics.
and guys, more pocket!!!
you are good guys i give you 4
