  • How about some of those squirrels that you dislike so much.. if you leave one in a jar at your front door it might give the others the idea to stay away :) No! I'm just kidding. I LOVE squirrels... in fact i'm disappointed in myself for even saying it... but you might like it :) i really WANT to do 'canning' but i don't grow enough produce yet to warrant it, nor the cupboard space to fit it..

  • @Watsamadoing LOL Karen. First I would have to catch one. My brother use to hunt squirrels. I would never eat anything he made unless I saw him take it out of the package and cook it. I never liked the try this, tell me what you think....

  • Excellent!

  • @rileyphillip Thank You Phillip

  • Congrats on the canner! The first thing I ever learned to can was green beans. Very easy and very tasty! Keep us posted on what you can. It will become an addiction...Well, maybe not an addiction, but you will save a lot of money and home canned stuff is sooo much better than store bought!

  • @jwlrymkr Thanks.

  • @CycleNH a little over 8 inches. Hope this helps.

  • I got one of these on order. i am looking forward to it. I vote chicken and pork

  • Never tried a pressure cooker before. I heard great things about them :)

  • Nice. I got my first one a few months ago. Don't have a guage. Wish it did. But I got mine because I was attempting plant tissue culture. It didn't go well. But I use it without the lid to boil up to 36 eggs at a time. I'd love to use it for canning sometime but I don't grow enough for that. I say you should make pickles. That seems like what everyone does and might be easy.

  • Woohoo! I am sooo excited for you! I just opened mine. First thing i did in it was meat. Easy!!! I read my instructions but found them lacking. Yanked out some vintage cook books, checked youtube & my modern-day canning book and went for it. I can't wait for your video.

  • Can you can a can? LOL I just had to say that.
