DeLorean Time Machine - DST 1/15 Scale Time Machine Upgrades

As promised here is the first of Videos that almost ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with my full size conversion. However, this is some nice video of just HOW I do some of my parts. In this case custom home made decals for my 1/15 scale model which I just recently purchased from Entertainment Earth.

Its a really nice model, but seemed to be missing something.

I can fix that.

Great vid, just a tip when working with small decals use tweezers to pick them up this way you wont risk ruining the decal with your fingers.

I usually do. This video was put together in about 15 minutes and I didn't pull out all my gear.

I had enough problems trying to coordinate what I did do with the camera :) That's why you get to see so much of my hairy hands :)

from what I understand, there was licensing issues with DeLorean. DST was already 'late' with product. Solution was to just not have DMC logos on product to meet release dates.

DST should have simply contacted the real rights owner about the logos. I know he contacted them. I can totally understand how the issue is contended between DMC Houston, The current TM owner and DST. In the end, the easiest thing to do was take the logos off.

That leaves it open to us "creative types" to solve the problem :)

I really wish they made it more detailed. Both the interior and exterior are missing a substantial amount of components.

I just got a Matchbox DeLorean, Black version of it. Looks good :) Even got the proper logo and tail lights. I was dissapointed when in the pack, the back looked like it opened, I tryed opening it and it didnt open :(
