What are you talking about? Goldfish live for about 20 years! And the average fish life span is anywhere from 2 years to 10! If you're keeping fish in a bowl, than they'll die quickly. If you keep them in a properly cycled, properly filtered, properly sized tank, they'll live for a long time.
