Bill O'Reilly and Marc Lamont Hill debate Barack Obama's Fathers Day speech. Was this a message of encouragement and critique to African American fathers, or attempt to score cheap political points with white voters?

  • I am a divorced man who took care of his kids financially. the courts let me keep $200.00 a month to live on. I had to live with relatives. I tried makng more with overtime, secound jobs, they took more. What is your incentive to work with unfair conditions like that.

  • Thank you obama for speaking to the black males. The children need their fathers. However the women need to take some responsibility also. I think were all aware that if we have a child outside of a relationship the father probably won't be present. Birth control is a wonderful option for those of you who enjoy random sex.

  • Have we come any closer to equal parenting since Obama came into office?

  • Any man or woman who leaves their family is no man or woman at all. That's the gospel truth.

  • Lamont stfu.

  • I don't agree with much that Obama says, but he nailed it here. I salute him for being a good father.

  • Hill is confused and his argument follows the same line of thinking of many black men who abandon their children and families. Hill equates support with money. Black men can still be in their child's life on a regular basis and be unemployed. One has absolutely nothing to do with the other. What does having a job have to do with making your child's dinner?or taking them to the park?or attending parent/teacher meetings?or going to doctor visits? We make excuses for behavior that even animals do.

  • fuck fox news they lie so much it makes the devil blush.

  • Im black and this is the first time that i am agreeing with Bill O'Reilly and not Lamont Hill. The blame is to be put on the individual people who make the conscious decision to have no involvement in their child's life. I understand that there are structural society issues that make it more difficult to financially support children but that does not stop a man from picking up the phone or ring the door bell to see their child. Responsibility must be put on the parents.

  • Congratulations black people a break through today on DNA maternity testing. DNA maternity testing now available over the counter at your local pharmacy.

  • @martian4u1 Those are unfortunate conditions, but your incentive is clearly to want to take care of your kids and regardless of how much hardship you may endure doing so, you just keep doing it. It's retarded for you to even ask what is the incentive. You also placed yourself in this situation.
