That's not abuse.
My dad used to pick me up by my elbows and swing me. We called it "Woah, Woah" because there were many times where he almost dropped me and he said "Woah, Woah". Once, he even hit my head against the refrigerator. But, we still did it. Because I thought it was fun.
If it makes your kid laugh, you'll do it. I'm glad my parents aren't overprotective. Anybody who says this is abuse, your kids are going to hate you and rebel as teenagers.
