i'm just watch this movie on Astro Kirana. I'm Malaysian.. I'm proud with this film....this is so perfect! Good Job for all t' team of this film... Love Chu...hehe... but it's great! Honestly.... now i'm try to find where i can get this dvd.... suggest you Puteri Gunung Ledang from Malaysia film..

In addtion! this film is about the hmong who live in NORTHERM-VIETNAM not in LAOS OR OTHER ASIAN COUNTRIES, THAT WHY IT IN VIETNAMESE! EASY
TO UNDERSTAND, FOR THOSE WHO ARE HMONG LIVE IN OTHER ASIAN COUNTRIES ^^! STOP COMPLAIN ABOUT THE LANGUAGE. THINK ABOUT ALL OF ASIAN PEOPLE IN U.S.A! THEY ARE ASIAN BUT THEY GO TO AMERICAN SCHOOL, AND SPEAK ENGLISH, AND HAVE U.S's CITIZEN rright! But they speak ASIAN LANGUAGES AT THEIR HOME (LIKE ME) RITE!? IT'S A SAME THING RITE?!

( THEIR ancestors move to VIETNAM and live there a long time ago, it could be the border between VIETNAM-CHINA, OR VIETNAM-LAOS, OR VIETNAM-CAMPUCHIA,etc...) but they are living in vietnam, the children go to school and learn vietnamese! and almost all of them know vietnamses. BECAUSE THEY LIVE IN VIETNAM, AND OUR VIETNAMESE PPL think that they are also vietnamese, so no matter the film is in vietnamese, or in HMONG LANGUAGE!

Mrkon79! this movie takes place in the north of vietnam, THE PLACE CALLED SAPA! and SAPA is the place where there a lot of HMONG, THAIS, TAIS, CHINESES....( WE CALLED THEM MOUTAIN PEOPLE because they usually live in highland and mountain area of VIETNAM) and there are 54 OF diffrent groups of moutain people in VIETNAM! AND THE (OUR) vietnamese think that those mountain people are also vietnamese, althought they are not original from vietnam
