what did you use to stabilize the nxt so that the gears and the nxt would coincide with the lego from behind and thus making it not fall? , being able to raise the whole thing without falling?

Hi, how many stairs can it climb before the battery dies? And what kind of batteries? Nice bot by the way, simple but very effective...

have you ever done a stari climber with the new nxt?.. cuz im trying to imitate your design .. but its really difficult..

@schewwy I have an NXT kit, but I've never attempted a stair climber. I have some more detailed photos of the design on my website. I can't seem to post a link here, but there's a link in the video description.
I used a lot of the Technic rack gears, which are not included in the NXT kit.

It runs on 6 AA batteries. I'm not sure how far it could climb before they died. It made several runs all the way up the stairs in my house without changing the batteries.
