I wish I could say that I have something in the midst of all of the hours and hours worth of radio I recorded in the Detroit area as a kid, and not to mention all of the fooling around I used to do!

That was great. Looking forward to more :)
I don't have any from when I was little like this... but I have some radio recordings and audio I found on some of my dad's cassettes and aunt's reel to reels. One was an early 70s cassette recording of WDVE with Janis Joplin.

LOL I actually listen to NKOTB.

Great listening to what we call 'historic recordings'... fascinating time capsule Dan... :)

hey, that's pretty cool. There arn't many of those instrumental stations around any more. What is on 95.5 in your area now, and who was that talk show host that was on for a minute there?X

@manyvideoinerests Thanks! 95.5 is B95.5 now, and it's adult contemporary I think. boring stuff. and I don't know who that talk show host was :P

When I think summer '88, I think of the song "The Flame" by Cheap Trick. Kinda gay, huh.

that song's pretty good actually, but I don't remember it from that time period I wasn't old enough to appreciate the song at the time lol
