I never understood the word "progressive" as defined by liberals. "Progressive" tax structures punish *actual progress* and reward stagnation and failure. Since the seventies, we've been inflating a poverty bubble by subsidizing poverty. After starting the "war on poverty," poverty has grown at twice the rate of GDP and debt has grown at four times the rate of GDP. Where is the progress? Well, big bankers are certainly doing well from collecting interest on the money borrowed by "Progressives."
