You are also watching the worlds best bodysurfer in the world. Check into it. Mike Stewart is one of the (if not THE best) waterman in the history of the world. If you want to bash wave riders of any type, bash the ones who YOU charge harder than. So all who bash him, Fuck You, I know I charge harder than you because any self respecting wave rider wouldn't bash someone of that caliber.

ok mrsbradpittiful explain to me how much DEEPER could that guy get on that wave because to me he was BALLS DEEP on that one.
-
Doesn't he ride a flat deck? I'm debating to get channels or a flat deck!! Help man!
-
@sully14 Could not have said it better myself! To me It is not what you ride but more of how you ride it. Additionally if you can get barreled on a boogie and standing up my hat goes off to you. I personally will ride my 6'7" single fin outside and when I cant paddle anymore then jump on my sponge and ride heavy shorebreak, all in the same day.

Mike Stewart was the FIRST NON LOCAL to RIDE Teahupoo! He was there a whole decade BEFORE Laird Hamilton or Kelly Slater. Quit your bitching and respect this legend in the same manner that every professional waterman does.

@WaveSliders "show respect for all watermen" dude, you hit it right on the head. if more people were like you the waters would be such a better place. keep with the positive vibes bro.

he could have got deeper

(Oh, that comment was directed to also @MegaGreendayfan and also all other not so bright little kids in the thread.)

@Bambikill99 ...up in themselves that they can't see beyond their own dicks 'n' egos... whatever the sport/hobby/skill. All complete non-intelligent-selfpraising-I
Qfishstick-wannabe-stuckup-sig hyou'resofuckin'boringtobearou nd tards. Mental rednecks... -
@Bambikill99 ...overrating oneself... who's the kook? So un-pro. To not respect ANYONE who jumps that wave and makes it - in style and not by sheer luck, is plain ignorant. It's not just about being strapped in the board (try fuckin' snowboard Mt. Everest - piece of a cake strapped tight, ain't it? HAH!), being on your stomach, or whatev. It takes skills, balance, calculation of risks, tactics 'n' above all - guts. So tired of people not being able to recognize skills, 'n' being so caught...
Enough of the "this kind of board is better" wars.. Mike Stewart has proven bodyboarding to be as badass as surfing. But Above all else, its about being on a wave, not what your on, on a wave. The true legends of waveriding master all forms of tapping into the oceans energy. If you take on teahupoo this size, I don't care if your on a fucking inflatable alligator, you charge beyond what many will ever see.
