Funny, the lithuanian genealogist speaks English with a German accent and not with an Eastern European one. Didn't know that German is still spoken there in some parts of the country.
Krottingen (Kretinga) is now in Lithuania as well. Having seen Suchet in films over the years I always figured he was of Turkish or Mediterranean descent.

My German teacher in high school was Latvian- he spoke a little Russian
but grew up in the 1940s speaking German there.
