Here Elwin Robinson concisely explains the difference between types of fats, and which we would be best to include or avoid for optimum health, you may be suprised, most people's understanding on fats is very out of date.

  • I do agree with everything you say Jack, but would just add that Omega 3 and 6 aren't called essential fats for nothing, and they are polyunsaturated fats, not saturated. The body can make its own saturated fat, but it can't make the omegas.

  • It's not a really complex subject when it comes to fat or food in general. Just look at what kind of fat we evolved off of: raw saturated fats. Raw organic eggs, grass fed meats/organ meats, raw coconut fats/cacao, raw, wild caught fish, etc. Cooked grains will ruin your health more than any saturated ever could (which don't ruin your health and are essential for hormonal production) because they aren't natural and have to be farmed and are very hard for the human body to digest.
