That was the most awesome Press Your Luck victory celebration since Gene Snyder!

I remember this episode. She was so excited! I love it!!!!

It was a smart play. There's a 1 in 6 chance of hitting a whammy. Steve already took four spins with three whammies, so passing him four to take pretty much assured that he would whammy out of the game. Steve had a total of 8 spins between earned and passed spins, so Ruth knew being that it was down to two players that she would get spins passed back to her. Luck always plays a part in this game. But there's also plenty of strategy to pay attention to.

what was funny about the end and it was not Ruth who won and gone balistic but you noticed that Steve and Michael shook hands that's rare now that the schools go for a Schilalige these days.

What I don`t get is how she got a little bit of money, then passed her spins. I realize it was done to knock off the guy with 3 w or s e, but afterwards while USC is playing his spins, she looks all down and mopey as if she was wishing she hadn`t gotten rid of her spins so quick. Then she gets forced to take spins gets really lucky and gets some good money and vacations then passes her remaining spins and he sue ellens out, but, I don`t think that was her original stratagy but it worked out.
