  • Boys well done - made me laugh - I am a patient myself - have gone thru all of that and more - well researched - why not continue and try to find a cure?

  • @slowmotion1998 I'm really interested with autoimmune diseases because my wife has a rare type of autoimmune disease. There are many on-going researches right now and I'm hoping they will have results in a year or two. Also, I'm hoping that the new tests and treatments will be available soon.

  • @claudoccornejo I am a PTA right now and I am still thinking of pursuing either DPT or MD. Thank you!

  • are you a real doctor, even a real medical student?

  • obviously we're not. it is just a class project.

  • Hello my mother has myasthenia Gravis also. Take a look at her website and let us know if you have taken the same kinda medication as she is trying to get.

    .wix.com/sylvie_26/mg

  • There is hope for MG, my son was 6 years old when he got really sick with Myasthenia Gravis, and he had the Thymectomy in 2006 since than he has been ok. Read his story on squidoo.com it's called "Bradley's Myasthenia Gravis", it will give you hope!

  • you know its not just old people who hasve it . i have it ?

  • that would happen to my husband he would say he felt like his tounge was too heavy to pick up. when he would drink any sort of liquid it usually came out his nose, his left eye was always droopy and he couldn't chew or swallow most of his food. Let alone picking up his head was like he was lifting weights with his neck. He fell a couple of times due to weakness not being able to pick up his feet. He's better now after surgery and medicine is more affordable

  • Dr. Stephane Huberty, a scientist in Belgium is developing a vaccine for MG. It is ready for phase 1 clinical trials. The BBC and the Wall Street Journal have both recently interviewed Dr. Huberty. If you are interested in it, follow @myasthenic on Twitter or Google Curavac. You can find the links to the articles and interviews on the website.
