  • Bono was born in Ireland and has a home in Ireland. He is absolutely Irish. He is also a role model for young people around the world, in addition to his talent. I wish more people would speak out on behalf of the down trodden and become activists rather than selfish, negative consumers. Rock on, Bono, you wonderful, Irish lad! Fignon, lay off the sherry. If you drank more Guinness, you'd be a more positive person.

  • Okay,go ahead and believe what you want, but really..you do not know them, you have not met them, you just ASSUME that they dont care.If they didnt, they wouldnt fly to africa and try to help, they wouldnt try to get all the people that attend their concerts to sign up for the ONE campaign.I read the u2 by u2 book and it says alot about bono going to Africa and how much it affected him and changed his life. You might not believe it and thats cool, but personally I think they are great people.

Okay listen, I love u2,you dont. If you read the emotion in the book and how he describes his trip to Africa you would feel the same way I do. There is also 1000 pictures of him in there on 2 different trips. Some of the pictures brought tears to my eyes.
