@IHS7 yea... Christian Haitians don't kill their neighbors for working on the sabbath either... Nobody can actually follow everything that's written in ancient books...
The Rum Barbancourt you talk about isn't accessible to every haitian, it's too expensive. The real and more potent haitian alcohol is called "cleren"... every haitian drinks "cleren", religious and non-religious alike. You can't go to a wedding without drinking something called "cremas" that's made with "cleren"

@IHS7 see. You've just proved my point. Refusing to eat griot, of all things, is to refuse something that is culturally Haitian. It's a haitian delicacy that's ubiquitous in any event where there's haitian food. It's been around since the time of slavery... To suddenly reject it because someone from the middle east says you should... is to turn your back on your ancestors who have relied on it for centuries.
Muslims, of all people, should know better.
