Art Journaling ~ The Beginning

I love a forever changing and maturing life of an artist. JournalArtista, also known as Paula, has opened a new door or should I say canvas for me as an artist. Since 9th Grade English class, I have kept a journal which contains quotes, thoughts, artistic ideas, and fun things. Now I create artistic pages within these pages, expressing a whole new level of making memories and creating works of art. I wanted to share with you a glimpse of what I have created thus far in hopes of inspiring you to do that same. Do the pages need to be like, extra thick or something? I want to make an art journal, but I can't find a notebook with thicker pagers anywhere D:

@DianaM2631 What I do, is take the gesso or any adhesive and adhere several pages together, maybe 3, and that creates a thicker foundation for the art jouranling.

but i have a question : the art journal is a simple notebook ?? .

@CariiOsmiile It is a just a $store notebook, nothing fancy. With art journaling you can use anything from anywhere. I don't follow anyone's rules with any of my mediums, that's what makes it fun! Colors or colored pencils work...I have even used juice from veggies to dye some papers...really...=) Read my blog tomorrow to see one of my tags!! LOL, really...
