"Security guards" have no authority to detain anyone in public places, nor do they have the authority to touch anyone without consent.
This "security guard" clearly assaulted you, and you should bring criminal charges against him, as well as suing him personally, and suing whatever rinky-dink outfit he works for.

@DaMaxxy Not having a go at you, but when in public anyone has the right to to film or photograph you and if you attack them you are the criminal. You have no right to expect privacy in public. that is the law. However, if you ask the photographer not to take pictures of you, they should respect your wishes. If they continue against your wishes it might be a different story :)
