@snakeman177 - yeah nicholas is getting pretty big these days... 5'8". i'll take bats over wasps any day.

Bat guano has a very unpleasant odor! It seems you don't come across too many tarantulas in your field work? I hear conflicting reports about populations in CO. In your opinion, would you say numbers are in decline, steady or growing?

@BradJC70 - we do see them in CO, mainly in the fall crossing the roads. I just don't take the time to put them on film. I'm really guessing here since we don't keep data on inverts, but I'd say the population still seems healthy.
