Well I find myself thanking you again. The vid u sent was one I hadn't heard. Wonder how old he's getting. I'm now 62 and we have to be close in age. Did you know that it was Bill Cosby that saw them in a London Pub and invited them stateside and I believe was instrumental in helping getting them signed up fpr their first album? @saintron60 Ritchie Blackmore 65 year 14 Apr 2010! Deep Purple Album - The Book of Taliesyn (1969) Released on the Tetragrammaton label( in the United States ) which was partially owned by Bill Cosby. Cheers!

In 1970 I heard Richie and the original Deep Purple Band at a friends house. "The 2 album set" "Purple Passages" songs like Chasing Shadows, Mandrake Root, Lalania, April, The long ver. etc. And I've bought everything He has been apart of. And I'll everything he ever adds a note to. He is the best in my book. Only person that even comes close to him in my view is Coco Montoya. Great job Tour 93 THX:)

Rainbow made it big in the U.S. after the years with Dio (if I have gotten it right) but in time there seems that most post-Dio Rainbow except the biggest hits (I Surrender, Since You Been Gone etc.) has been pretty much forgotten. Such a shame.. this proves there is some great stuff on those albums!
