I agree, lets punnish them, deport them and work something out for the agriculture sectors. I also agree to, when this deportations happen, pay 12 dollars a pound for tomatoes, when citizens take the jobs and demand 8 hour shifts. Saturdays and Sundays off, vacations, paid holidays, long breaks when the heat waves hit, dental and medical plans, childcare and who knows what else. And of course, Im not generalizing, it will just be a few who complain.

It doesnt look a lot better than where they came from, that is true for some, not all. Some of them come from cities or big towns, just because they were unemployed. A lot of them didnt go to school, some of them dont even speak Spanish, they were mistretaed in their native country by people from lets say, a specific race who controls the government and the money. My point is, I believe they did something wrong by entering this cuntry illegally, but does that really makes them terrible criminals

When I had the chance to know some of them personally, I understood that that was they way they escaped the conditions they were living and working in, the only time where nothing mattered and they felt fine. Im not saying I totally agree with this, but when you get to know them and not look from a distance, youre bound to change your opinion.

The majority here are undocumented, which means they broke the law, just like I do every day I drive above the speed limit, just like some citizens who lie about their income to get help from the government.I was one who didnt have anything against undocumented farmworkers, the only thing I couldnt understand was why do they drink that much beer?

I worked with Telamon and Americorps this Summer, and when you actually get to know them your views change a bit. I dont take sides, because I believe its not true that they all are good people, as is not true they are all bad. They are like anybody else, humans, who make mistakes, who make bad decisions and good decisions.

Looks a lot better than where they came from. Show that to a mexican in mexico and it looks like paradise. They should just go through all those camps and clean up all the illegals staying there. This video is rediculous. Why not do a documentary on the american homeless person who is actually a citizen here and not a bunch of people who arent supposed to be here in the first place.

p.s. there is always Hope..........anyways does anyone know whose labor camp this is because it looks familiar. Anyways, my grandfather owned a labor camp when he was still living and those trifling people gave him so many problems. Meanwhile he still gave them a job and bailed them out of jail. I would love to meet who made this video.

1.) if these people entered this country LEGALLY they wouldnt be living like this.
2.) they get anywhere form .75 to 1.75 per bucket and at a regular pace an everage person can pick up to $12 an hour which happens to be UNTAXED because these people are ILLEGAL.
3.) notice the propaine tanks, they have heat and hot water and AC and food and everthing is just dandy.
4.) these people CHOOSE to be here. they arent forced to come into the country ILLEGALLY.

I believe if their work in the fields was incorporated into this video, it would hold A LOT more meaning. Not that it doesn't mean enough by itself, but how does 50 cents a bucket strike you on top of this? I worked in the tomato fields last summer...The work alone was bad enough. I cannot imagine what it must feel like to go "home" to these conditions...
Heyyour talking about me man I've been living here for a long time. And both of those types of homes I've lived in. U guys don't have any idea what it's like. But u no that it's not where you live and how you live it's your family that makes everything worth while. Maybe some of these people don't have a choice, family financial struggles, they have to chose between dying or at least trying 2 make something happen for their families. Even if it means coming illegally. What would you chose.
