I don't know about suck. They do have a very, very, VERY steep learning curve, but what do you expect? The game's controls are not like any other game, so of course you're gonna have difficulty.
Really, the only controls I hate that I can remember from the top of my head are the skyflyer gadget and the Cyber Ace (AKA super hero) morph. Those two have killed me so, so many times.

I think it's a great game (For kids mostly) but oh god, THE CONTROLS SUCK. Thankfully it doesn't efect the gameplay too much.
