  • ya... love the sound of cellos and violins. I also create that effect without an ebow using the volume knob.

  • Can ebows damage your pickups in anyway?

  • @nomadicexplorers, well technically is employs a very mild magnetic field that may have some effect on pickups but I really don't know if it's enough to cause anything on your pups.

  • (excuse the stupid account name) hey! im thinking about buying one of these but im only wanting to commit if it's possible to play 2 or 3 strings at a time?

  • @john2k8harvey, i don't think it is... you can move it from one string to another but that would produce an arpeggio kind of sound (which i don't think what you're after)

  • @NomadRonin, on a Les Paul I'd always use the neck pickup, but on a Strat I'd use all 3 pickups depending on the kind of sound I need to make ...

  • sounds like a e-cello or e-violin. very neat!

  • @NomadRonin Ebows are almost always used with the neck pickup.

  • Are you using the neck or bridge pickup?

  • thanks to all for liking :)... I'm planning on doing another vid for my DD-20
