At least 9 killed in Uganda riots 11/09/09

Across the border, a local Ugandan king will go ahead with a controversial visit, despite two days of riots that have left at least nine people dead. Earlier the police had said Saturdays visit would not happen as it would be "unwise" and a "security risk". The violence erupted over land and power disputes between President Yoweri Museveni's government and leaders from Buganda, one of the east African country's four ancient kingdoms. Nine people have so far been killed in the riots.

poor Africa. this continent is devolving faster and faster everyday. They are ignored when it comes to global economic input and have nothing to offer other than heart wrenching blockbuster movies like blood diamond and Hotel Rwanda. Whatever comes out of that place is pain and bloodshed! The "intelligent" Africans are all running away and rightly so because unfortunately these people will kill themselves into extinction.
