  • Well all three ladies bring something special to the table, Patti doing these songs without them would just be Patti doing old hits, but it's the magic, vocals, costumes (although subdued) and stage presence that bring great shows. EVERY SHOW they did was GREAT! And you noticed when singing with them Patti was in HIGH GEAR. Don't Hate ENJOY and EMBRACE it!!

  • Hey no Way! At the time these ladies united in an artistic tryst of of imagining music and bringing it to performance.

  • The lengendary Nona and Sarah along with Patti were LABELLE - Nona and Sarah are much more than background singers. Let us begin with the fact that Miss Nona Hendryx wrote this song and most of the LABELLE hits. Please people know what you are talking about - how dare you show your ass by calling Nona and Sarah just background singers - now - ISN'T IT A SHAME> !!!!!!!!!!

  • @foxypatti - because that is really what they were - background singers. Nothing special from either one.

  • @ShangoJamal HOW DO YOU FIGURE THAT?

  • Poor Nona and Sarah were brought back for a supposed Reunion, and just ended up being famous background singers for a Patti Show.

  • MY JAM......OF ALL TIME .. AND ITS SOOO TRUE

  • Love this too!!!

  • Thanks so much RWB for posting. I was not able to see them when they came to Detroit. They sound and look beautiful as usual

  • The BEST Labelle song to date...well all of them are but this one i love so much and I love when Patti does brushes them off when they get to the vamp like they did in 1975
