because something is an 'age old' punishment means absolutely nothing. u were obviously spanked alot and have to rationalize it by saying that spanking is no big deal. however, u are overlooking a lot of stuff.

She loves her kids, but honestly, if u watch every episode of Jon and Kate plus 8, you would see that Kate dosent really treat Leah the best.....

it may be an age old dicipline but that dosnt mean its right. Anyway fr a christian the teachings of the jesus in the new testament are faar more important to live by then the old testement. And there are passgees in the old which contradict the new. Plus Not everything in the old testament is meant to betaken literlally.
