For 25 years, Denise Herzing has returned to the same place in the Bahamas to study a group of wild dolphins. Next year, she will pioneer a project to communicate with them.

  • Ahh NY Times basically ignores the PhD title. MD they love. PhD they disrespect systematically.

  • "Miss Herzing"? Who is the narrator? Who wrote this narrative? It is *Dr.* Herzing. Not only does she have a PhD, her research is brilliant. If we can actually communicate with dolphins, we should all thank "Miss" Herzing.

  • Has anyone thought of submitting their language( sounds) to a codebreaking group?
