Super Moon!

It's the moon and it's apparently super. Ooh ee ooh!

Full moon, perigee, in clear skies over London. Apparently the first full "supermoon" since 19 January 1992 - which isn't a terribly long time ago, but still. There was no Youtube then!

Then again, an article in the Guardian from a few years ago says there was a full moon in perigee on December 12, 2008, so I don't really know what's going on now! (Presumably that was great, just not so super.)

It was just like Halley's Comit and anything else that I was told I'd only see once in my life time: I stood outside, I looked at it, I said, "Oh Yeah, How cool?", I went back inside, noticed that I was the same and life hadn't changed, and went to sleep. I always feel slighted, like it should have been more. Oh well.

Its bigger cus its 50,000 km closer to Earth, so if you are thinking of launching your moon mission rocket then its a good time. Think of all the money you will save on petrol
