Bettas, African Dwarf Frogs, and Shrimp - 5 Gallon Tank

Bettas, African Dwarf Frogs, and Shrimp - 5 Gallon Tank - this is a small tank and I'm considering giving away one of the frogs to cut down the crowding a bit. Everyone seems very happy here though, and the frogs are just hilarious! So are the shrimp - they behave like a dog with a stick. They dash for their food, run off with it and then sit alone, working on it for a long time. They eat slowly.

Shrimp I've had in the past didn't just hide all of the time. I'm not sure where you got the idea that shrimp behave that way. I imagine they would only hide a majority of the time if your tank was full of predators that continually chased them.

5 gallon and below tanks are crap. the fish are cramped and the tank takes more effort to keep clean. a 10 gallon is twelve dollars and a cheap lid is eight.

If you want an aquarium invest a bit more money and do it up right
