keep telling yourself that. it's obvious when you look at her videos from when she was about 17, she had a nose job. no doubt about it. she had a nose like her sisters all have-- more bulbous on the end and a little wider on the bridge

@jason101other Gisele's nose still is big and different. People still call Gisele's nose ugly and Gisele said many times that her nose is ugly, if she did want to change anything she would have done. Now about the comment you did about Gisele's teeth in your first post,Gisele used braces and probably had the operations that most people do,braces and the most simple operations are very common only the poorest can't do and the average poor has the chance if the opportunity comes up.

@akririumbutterfly. There's nothing wrong with her getting teeth work. I'm just saying this illusion of the world's "most beautiful woman" is just that-- an illusion. She was not born with the "perfection" that would be commensurate with her high pay. And yes, she did have a nose job. Her nose used to be obviously more bulbous and blocky. Would she have had the level of success in the modeling world if she hadn't had had it done? No. Her nose post-op is much more photogenic.

@jason101other Gisele never tried to be perfect. People criticise her body, skin, hair, nose, breasts, face and everything else. If she wanted to look the way most people would like to see, she would have become one more Heidi Montag and like other female celebrities who passed through anything to look the way others want to see. Gisele is lucky that to look "beautiful" she have changed very few recognizable features like her hair. I don't even know if lucky is a good word.

@akririumbutterfly I agree with you that there are illusions of perfection and true beauty projected to Gisele. But I don't think she is the only one to be blamed, many magazines started to claim Gisele was the "most beautiful woman in the world" and Gisele said in interviews that people say whatever they want. Well, she did and keep on doing profit taking advantage of the illusions created by others.

@mel93160 Sorry for not replying the when you asked. The girl is the winner of the Brazilian edition of the contest done by Elite Models agency in Brazil that year, her name is Claudia Menezes. Gisele was given the second place.

@akririumbutterfly Actually, she did try to fit the part-- that is why she got the nose job, boobs and teeth work. It's just that she naturally had a good foundation to work with.
