Ambush sep 3 2006 Withdrawal continues part 16 of 16.avi

On sep 3 2006 the canadian forces launced the largest combat operation in history since the korean war. The objective was to surround and destroy and occupy home territory to over 600 taliban. This was the second official day of the assult and we advanced on one of the main objectives in an assult that lasted nearly 5 hrs. When it was all over 4 canadians were kia and approx 8 wounded. From start to finish in these 16 videos is the approach to the school with artillery covering our approach to the hasty dissorganized withdrawal after we got our asses handed to us. I will note that I witnessed but cannot post the evac of our dead and wounded as it is dissrespectful to the families. To discredit some innacurate accounts found in afghan war novels that has come out in recent years I have decided to post this ambush so people can see for themselves our true involvement what the canadian forces continue to experience over there. I was driving a lav 3 with the 2cer engineer regiment for the duration of my tour.
