Destination Unknown South Orkney Island,

On my way to the white continent of Antarctica, I passed by the South Orkney Islands. This remote group of islands gave me my first glimpse of the incredible beauty that is found only in the southern Atlantic Ocean.

South georgia and south sandwich islands claimed by britain in 1775 claimed by argentina in 1938.

South Shetland Islands(you not mention but still) claimed by Britain in 1819 second claim(official) in 1908, Chile claim 1940, argentine claim 1943.

South Orkney Islands claimed by britain in 1908(discovered ages before), argentina claim 1925.
