@ShineMystics hi my 8 yr old son was diagnosed last year and when he got admitted to hospital he was 26.9!!! now things are more stabilised he between 4 and 10, but more often than not quite low at around 3! hope ure health care is good as we do not have a great system here! more often than not left to get on with it!!

haha that is so cute, my mother gave me her scrubs when i was young and i use to dress up as a doctor :)
does it hurt when it got pricked and how you prick the finger?

@imalittlechicky There is a setting to how much the needle prick the finger. With the correct setting it does not hurt.

6.6 is what my blood is around now but it normally goes from 5.0 to 11.5 depending on my sugar levels. I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes a couple of days before last christmas. It was a HUGE shock but Ive learned to adept to everything it throws my way. When I was diagnosed my blood was 15.5. But it's gone down a lot now and it varies :).

My daughter's blood sugar level was over 40 when she was diagnosed.
