Dave's #1 problem that night was he didn't call Garrett's parents and tell them to come get him off his property.

Yeah I know, this is old news but still, he fucked up by allowing Garrett to stay there after the very first incident.

Whether or not anything happened, If I were Dave, I would never allow children that I barely know, sleep over and party with me and other adults. My ass would be on the line if one of the kids gets seriously injured somehow, or if one of the other adults, in a drunken stuper did something to one of the kids. I never understood why Dave let so many kids play and drive around the farm. If an adult wrecks and seriously injures himself, it's his own fault. If a kid does, it's Dave's ass on the line
