She is cute! What is the prognosis? She looks fine!
My son and your granddaughter could be twins! He looked just like her at that age. He is microcephalic due to an intrauterine cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection. They had to test us many times before it finally came back positive for CMV.
How is she doing? They always told me Kevin was going to be profoundly developmentally delayed, blind and deaf but he blew them out of the water. He's smart, very verbal, etc. He's got his problems but he's doing great. Best of luck. She's adorable.

Chloe is happy and healthy, but just very delayed. She has very good hearing and eyesight and is very alert; always watching what is going on around her but she cannot reach for toys, sit up, or crawl. She is entirely breast fed at this time. Though her mom is trying to get her to eat some solids she doesn't quite know what to do with the food when it's placed in her mouth. She is normally not very verbal at all, but the other day she said "Buh!" so her parents were real excited about that!
