On July 28, 1984 I was a nine year-old San Francisco schoolboy who graduated from the third grade and I was recently enrolled at the Fort Funston Summer Camp in Daly City, California. Later on that summer my family were going to visit my maternal grandparents in Annapolis, Maryland.
This advert came out in Spring 1988, you can tell by the end of the advert where it's sponsoring the olympics later that year in Seoul. The song was rewritten as 'In love for the very first time' and re-released by Robin Beck in 1989 and it went straight to no. 1 ;-) Good times...
