@JakeTheDrummer18 The song is about The King in Yellow. A book by Robert Chambers about a fictional play about a titular King in Yellow who dwells on the planet Carcosa. He wears a mask that if he ever removes it sends people insane at the sight of his face. The people in the book who read the lay similarly go insane.

Really awesome. Quick question: Whos point of view are the lyrics supposed to come from? It says, "I am the Destroyer" and "Behind this masks lie the true face of evil." In addition, "Your race will cease to exist." Is it supposed to be satan destroying the world, or were you "pissed as fuck" as they say, when you were writing lyrics for this song? Don't get me wrong, it's an astounding song. Very well written. This isn't supposed to be offensive or anything either. I was just wondering.
