What great times and great televison back then. Today's shows, along with the popular music has really, really changed since then, and not for the better, IMO. I miss the days when family and friends (all ages) could gather around and find something great on TV to watch together.
I was a teen in the 80's, so I was really into a lot of these shows and I looked up to a lot of the actors. Again...those were great times.

I love this promo because Randy Newman remade his hit I Love L.A. for this. I just wonder if my friend, Steve Lukather from Toto, played guitar on this like he did on the original I Love L.A. track. I guess there's only one way to find out....LOL!!!

Why did ABC go with the macho look during the 1970s and 1980s? It was really not a vibe I really liked.

The Fall Guy was a fun action show with a hot girl in it.

I wonder how Diff'rent Strokes could've been featured in this promo.Either it wasn't picked up by ABC when this promo was created, or they just didn't want to bother since it was way past it's prime.

I love it! I can just imagine suits sitting around a boardroom table watching this on their 19" TV's, rocking in their chairs doing the whiteman overbite and pumping their fists.

Thanks, I'm glad I found this in my collection. The other ones I've seen out there with bad video and no sync sound drive me nuts.
