Slides change about every 40 seconds. Here is a slide show consisting of 5 historical plaques of Louisiana Plantation Homes. One of my hobbies is taking these photos of Plaques. This features 5 Plantation Homes. The music is by the KEUN Mamou Hour Cajun Band with Revon Reed and Sadie Courville. The song title is "Hathaway Two Step", my favorite cajun instrumental.

  • or just has lots

  • @boozeye66 I would say St. Francisville has the most in a small area. Maybe Vacherie. The entire corridor along the Mississippi River from New Orleans to Baton Rouge (both sides) is pretty saturated with them. I am in process of making more still videos with the actual homes, not just the markers, better pics.

  • @boozeye66 Not being in the real estate buisness, it is hard to say. I am sure (depending on size condition and amount of land) you could pay from half a million up. I know there are a few for sale in Franklin, LA . There also has been a few for sale lately in the Baton Rouge area. Natchez Mississippi also has a good concentration of Plantations.
