I think both of you are wrong. The world isn't a steriotype and both of you are basing your arguments on "labels". Not all woman are selfish and vain and not all men are wominizers, players or "emotional retards". People are people and deep down all of us want the same thing...happiness, love, peace, and saftey.

there may be exceptions but they are VERY rare. Usually a woman selfishness is proportional to her looks and beauty. The better looking the more selfish and opportunistic.

You seem to be confused. Or prejudiced. Or just deeply deeply bitter. I think you'll find it's the other way around. Men tend to think they're put upon but that's because they are emotionally retarded and incapable of seeing anything from someone else's perspective. Thankfully I seem to have found the one man who isn't like that. But hey, you wanna be alone forever, you keep ahold of that pride and single-mindedness. I'm sure that'll keep you warm in the absence of us 'selfish' women.

Maddie dogged David. And wasn't until she saw him with someone else did she decide to be truthful with him.
Maddie's character was selfish, selfish, selfish. Rarely did she ever care about David's feelings.
