Could some one explain to me why he said 1 dollar paper bill = 1 carton of oil whereas 1 dollar silver coin equals 12 cartons of oil. What does that mean - we should start confiscating our silver dollar coins instead ? If I go to a gas store, my coin is not worth anything more than on paper.

@jabhatta He's comparing the true value of the paper dollar to that of a dollar that has precious metal backing. In this example, the silver in the silver dollar is worth 12 times that of the paper dollar because of the value of silver.

Funny how the John Birch Society was founded on ROCKEFELLER MONEY. That's right. Why did Rockefeller pay the founder's brother 50 times more for his candy factory than what it was worth? Sorry but we don't buy the gold standard. We are evolved beings that understand that fiat money is the best currency to use when kept in accordance with GDP. Nice try Ron Paul, you can fool most.

What about the military? They are the biggest part of the deficit ... what about the money congress gets it keeps going up even when we have a recession. This is so one sided ... not a true view of budget, spending, and interest ...sounds more like fear this so i can keep making money off of you.
