I think they should bring back pump organs after you have had surgery or something like that the dr usually wants you to excirse a little to strenghten your legs or hart using a pump organ is perfect as you use your feet in movement plus its enjoyment as well,,it could be good excirse and healthy too,,

That organ needs its bellows restored. There probably a leak in the reservoir or pump. An organ shouldn't need to be pumped that fast.

I was SO gutted, My local charity shop Dorothy House had a very lovely pump organ that was there for weeks, for £100 which was then reduced to £70. I had the money but not the space :(.
But if I see another one I WILL make space for it...that or wait until I get my own house :p.

my pump organ plays way better...but urs is still kool, mine is about 40years younger then that one also, mine is in 100% working condition, got it for free a month ago, never been taken apart once..totally mint

I was in the right place at the right time and got one with 10 stops inc. couplers for $1 (NZD). They aren't really all that expensive and the value of them is usually intrisic value due to being passed down the generations or whatever.

Well there are two kinds of reed organs, both pumped by foot, the Harmonium works on air pressure, these smaller organs all work on vacuum, the pedals working the bellows are sucking the air out of the reservoir.

I was thinking the same...looks like he's going down hill on 1st gear...lol

I found one from the 1880s in a flea market for 40 dollars. After I patched the bellows it played like a brand new one. I thought it may be missing it's console until I found a vintage ad and realized it did not come with one. The real trick is transporting one. They are out there to be had. No one wants to cart around heavy furniture, these days... except folks like us who collect antiques, lol
