George Ismakov - composer, honored artist of Caucasus (Kavkaz - Russian Federation)

George Ismakov is one of the representatives of Mountain of the Jewish people of Dagestan.

He was born in the village of Aksay, Khasavyurt district. He received his musical education, then engaged in teaching activities.

His first song, "Aksay Waltz" which was written in 1958 and gained rapid and widespread in Dagestan and beyond. Creativity and talent of George Ismakov marked a high award of the Government of Dagestan - was awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of Russia". In the village of Aksay numerically dominated Kumyk nationality, which belongs to the Turkic language group. Even in his early years George wrote the song "Aksay Waltz" on Kumyk language that speaks perfect.

This product was very rapid and widespread in Dagestan and beyond. His life was happy and long, it continues to be heard and to this day. In his younger years the composer participated in the raion and national song contest and repeatedly won prizes. As a result, his entire way of life continued, he decided to devote the art of music.

After immigrating to Israel, the composer, without compromising the creative activity, continued to create. His new songs were performed by popular singers in Israel. In his songwriting George Ismakov uses four languages: Kumyk, their mother - the language of the Jews of the Northern Caucasus, Hebrew and Russian.

In the published book - a collection of the best songs of the composer, including songs written by him with the 60th of the last century to the present time.
