  • I'm a little confused sister, is this prayer you have on the video the formula used by a priest to cast a demon out of someone or is this a prayer that a person says if they're having problems?

  • @HomeSkillet489 This is for Lay people that are having problems. If you get the chance you should read "The Rite: Making of an Exorcist"- or anything Father Amorth-related. This is for people to denounce evil & request God's blessings. It would be better for Lay people to leave the sacred exorcism prayers of the Rite to those whom God intended to use it [priests w proper training & bishop's approval & blessing]. But there ARE prayers we are allowed to use- such as this one

  • @HomeSkillet489 [cont.] There are different reasons why one might "have problems"- most often its b/c someone has unconfessed sins of esoterism, satanism, astrology, occultism etc. this often attracts demonic entities. Sometimes demons can be attached to people/places/objects b/c they've been dedicated [or "consecrated"] to evil though a "curse"- this specific prayer is to break curses- for other spiritual warfare prayers go to the first link in video description.
