I FINALY FOUND THE PROBLEM! The wheel on my roller lifter (in the 8th cylinder exhaust side) had a flat spot. Im guessing due to a small speck of dirt or metal. When I pulled it out it still spun freely so im weirded out on why this happend. I replaced all lifters and pushrods plus the 8th cylinder spark plug and it ran like a champ until the pip went out in the distributor during the test drive.I ordered the Summit billit distributor and my car ran but like crap as if the timing was off. After alot of research and more money on plugs and wires and other small stuff, come to find out is was the aftermarket TFI module, put on the old motorcraft one and it run great! Thank you all for your ideas and help!!

  • So did you figure out what the sound was? My 96 mustang is making the same noise and i have new pulleys and a new belt so I am at a loss for what it could be.

  • I have not yet but im am planing on replacing my pilot bearing w/ zoom kevlar one. Also my clutch fork with heavy duty one-just in case if its bent or tweaked. And my release bearing retainer with steel one and release bearing to go with it.

  • where does it sound like the noise is coming from? i noticed you focused in on the bellhousing area. on my mustang after it warms up it starts this squealing noise from the bellhousing area. yet when its in gear and i let the clutch out it goes away. i cant figure mine out either think its in the tranny on mine

  • it sounds like its in the back of the engine area i really cant pinpoint it but it is constant no matter what i do even while driving. first i thought it was a tick but it has a squeal sound in a high low pitch pattern

  • it kinda sounds like your timing if off? but i cant really tell with the sound "quality" of the computer

  • how would that make a squeal like that . i drove it for about threee months every day and one morning it just started

  • hey i have a problem with my 92 mustang it doesnt have power and i replace spark plugs, wires to msd and replace the modular on the distributer and nothing oh yeah and when i floor it makes a weird rattle noise but not sure if its from the engine or tranny but i think my valve or rod are loose what do u guys think. PLS HELP ME GUYS CANT THINK OFF ANYTHING ELSE BUT JUST SEEING MY CAR PARK EVERYDAY MISSING THE ACTION ON THE STREET NOT EVEN A MACHINIC NO WHAT IT IS. SO HEEEEEEEEEELP PLS.

  • Anyone know why some billet distributors will not work with the Cobra intake?

  • I want a mustang so bad but the ones in my area are complete junk. Or they want way to much.

  • Had the same issue with my 454. Odd noise. At first I thought I had a belt going bad. Then as I took it down I found my #2 was pitted and had a flat spot. Wish I had seen this before trying to figure it out on my own. LOL

  • Clutch could do it to but it would go away when you would push the pedal down. That is a pressure plate that was tightedned to quickly bending a finger which is sqweeking against the throw out bearing.

  • How are you adjusting your rockers...sounds like an under adjusted rocker. Just FYI...tighten to zero lash then an addition half to 3/4 turn.

  • what headers are you using?

  • wow....there are truly some idiots that have no idea what their talking about responding. sounds like a loose rocker arm..at first, but later on in the video it sounds more like you might have an exhaust leak that is making a squeak....try the socket joints at the headers/h pipe it sounds like it might have a leak there

  • idk. mine is squealing now too :/

  • it is your seat covers
