  • I think it has something to do with dust in the dock connector at the bottom of the device. IPhone thinks there is an external speaker connected... Cleaning the dock connector could solve the problem

  • all you have to do is upgrade or restore to default settings it should work

  • happen to my ipod just restart it :D

  • I had this problem on my iPod touch 2g on 3.1.2. i fixed it perminantly by upgrading to 4.1

  • lol glad iphone 4 has fixed all these problems

  • you put the headphones while iphone screen is off,it alredy happen to me a couple of times, but i got a problem on mine loss of sound when you unlock the phone :(

  • just restart.
