I like the idea of pedal power because in many areas of the world the bicycle is a mode of transportation. I like generation linked to walking, like the pedometer, because people outside of USA walk. This device seems nice at 20W per min...
Though, I would prefer a pedal generator at 100-150W per min. You could pedal and use the laptop at the same time.
Either way, the human body sucks at making electricity.
